Postethnic mobilisation in Bosnia-HerzegovinaMy PhD project. It traces the obstacles and opportunities for grassroots organisations mobilising across ethnic borders in Bosnia (between 2006-2010), as well as the development of alternative identities & frames of mobilisation. |
Frames of reconciliationI analysed how the European Union, the ICTY and other organisations define "reconciliation" and how those definitions and framings of reconciliation conflict with local needs and local definitions of what reconciliation is or should be. Future projectsI would like to focus more broadly on gender relations in post-conflict settings, analysing and comparing cases across geographic areas. My main interest is the (co-) construction of masculinities and feminities post-conflict, and the relations between vulnerability, agency and victimhood.
